Traffic Hazard on North Street

Dear all Mayfair Lane residents,

We have received (unofficial) word that at The Ambassador (the apartments near Mayfair Lane), they have started a geothermal dig project that is expected to last through August.

By now you may have noticed that due to the project, residents of The Ambassador apartments are parking along North Street; this will occur for the project’s duration.

Please be aware that — because vehicles are now often parked immediately to the right and left of the entrance of Mayfair Lane — there is very low traffic visibility when pulling out onto North Street from the lower Lane.

To increase safety, we are in the process of asking the city to take measures that prevent people from parking on North Street in the areas directly flanking Mayfair Lane’s entrance/exit.
