Dear Mayfair Lane Neighbors,

In an effort to keep you informed about matters that could impact our community, we want to share news of a plan to sell a number of properties along North and Elmwood, including the adjacent Ambassador Building, to an out-of-state group who plans to operate the buildings as low-income housing.

Our information about this project is limited to the information in this Business First article as well as the ECIDA incentive information. We are working to learn additional information and encourage you to do the same.

As mentioned, the project is seeking tax-related incentives from the ECIDA; because of this, it is open to a public comment period that runs until 4:00 p.m. on June 23, 2026.
