Hazard Alert + Roof/Gutter Notice

Dear all Mayfair Lane residents,

We’d like to bring two matters to your attention:

1. Alert: There is a manhole cover inexplicably missing on North Street in front of Mayfair Lane. This is a serious hazard, as it is a 10’ drop (not just a pothole). Residents of Mayfair Lane placed a shutter and cone atop the hole to prevent danger, and they have also alerted the city about the problem via 311 email. Until the city properly covers the manhole, please exercise caution when walking and driving.

2. For your information: Gutter cleaning and roof inspection will occur on Saturday, June 27, commencing around 8:00 a.m. Once Angelo Sanfilippo and his team have identified necessary repairs to roofs, they will let homeowners know about said repairs via a report. We plan to coordinate one time slot for him to conduct repairs, so that repairs can occur on the same day. Stay tuned for more information about that.
