Reviving Mayfair Lane Committees: Join Us

Dear Neighbors,

Your Mayfair Lane Board is excited to revive Lane Committees. For many years, committees were an indispensable part of Lane operations, allowing for broader participation and input from neighbors in the maintenance and upkeep of our beloved Lane. Over the past several years, however, committees were largely put on pause to address the critical structural repairs carried out in the Lane Repair Project.

Recognizing a need to continue moving back to normal, the Board seeks to engage neighbors in the following re-formed or new committees: Gardening Committee; Maintenance Committee; Capital Improvements Committee; Finance Committee; and Community Committee.

As we relaunch these committees, we also seek to make them more inclusive of the current make-up of the Lane. We know many homes on Mayfair Lane are occupied by long-term tenants and residents who, while not homeowners, still care deeply about the appearance and future of Mayfair Lane. The only committee that will be reserved to homeowners is the Finance Committee. The Gardening, Maintenance, and Community Committees will be open to both homeowners and long-term residents of the Lane. The Capital Improvements Committee will be open to long-term residents upon approval by the Board.

Those who are interested in joining a committee can contact the individual board liaison for each committee. They are:

  • Gardening Committee: Rebecca M.

  • Maintenance: Amy vO.

  • Capital Improvements: Lindsay M.

  • Community: Anna Marie R. and Andres V. (Co-Chairs)

  • Finance: Amy vO.

We encourage all homeowners and residents to consider joining a committee. Members of the Board are happy to answer questions regarding committee service.

Sincerely,
Your Mayfair Lane Board of Directors
